A revolution in water base technology, Smart Prime is an all-purpose, all surface water based interior/exterior primer that has all the performance characteristics of an oil based primer.

Developed for professional and commercial applications where an ultimate performance low odour and low VOC primer is required. This advanced technology combines dependable stain blocking power with fast dry convenience, exceptional flow and leveling and outstanding adhesion to glossy surfaces.

Dried film is mould and mildew resistant.

• Priming – Use on bare or painted surfaces including wood, drywall, cured plaster, concrete, stucco and masonry, aluminium, vinyl, galvanised metal and PVC. Outstanding adhesion to dense, glossy surfaces; enamel paints and varnishes, laminates and ceramic tile-without sanding or de-glossing
• Sealing – Proprietary blend of resins penetrate deeply to seal porous surfaces providing a smooth and even finish. Helps bind chalky siding and trim
• Stain Blocking – Blocks stains from water, smoke, cedar or redwood bleed, grease, handprints, asphalt, crayon, graffiti and rust stains

Technical Data

• Coverage 9.8 square metres per litre (coverage will vary depending on method of application and surface porosity)
• Dry Time At normal temperatures B-I-N will be touch dry in 30 minutes and can be re-coated after two hours. Full adhesion and hardness develops in  7 days
